>Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer<br>

>Position:<br>Lead Manufacturing Test engineer for the Xbox Accessories
products in China. This position is for someone located in Microsoft Asia
Center for hardware (MACH), Shenzhen, China. As a candidate of the job, you
are responsible for the Manufacturing Test operations in China on all current
and legacy Xbox accessory products. These products include Wireless Game
Controllers, Wireless Headsets, Wireless Microphone, Wireless Steering Wheel,
Wi-Fi Adapter, Battery/Charger, IR Controllers, USB Camera and others. You
will lead an engineering team in China and work closely with the US
counterpart in establishing priorities and transitioning new product
development activities to China. Additionally you will have the responsibility
for maintenance and support of all sustaining MTE areas. This includes cost
reduction and continuous improvement project.

><br>Description:

>Responsible for Design, Verification and Assurance activities of
Manufacturing Test Systems used in production to verify the integrity of
accessories and peripherals. Activities include, developing, implementation
and execution of the manufacturing test plan. Identify test tool requirements,
design requirements and participate in specification and design reviews for
Design for Manufacturing Test. Work with the product design team, test
hardwaresoftware vendors and contract manufacturers to provide timely
deliverable of high quality test systems. Responsible for Manufacturing Test
Engineering leadership in support and sustaining of production test systems
and test processes in a very high volume contract manufacturing environment.
Responsible in real time audits of test systems and test processes at all Tier
1 sites to ensure test and quality adherence and compliance as prescribed in
the statement of work and Engineering Change Orders and Test Procedures.
Provide onsite test support to all Tier 1 suppliers for all EVT, DVT, and PVT
builds. Manage all Tier 1 test systems maintenance, including spare parts
procurement, GR&R and test systems and tool qualification procedures. Must be
able to multi-tasks with multiple functional teams and projects to accommodate
dynamic schedules and requirements.

><br>Qualifications:

>BSEEcomputer with at least 5 years experience in hardware design and/or
hardware test environment required. Master of Science and experience in
similar/comparable product, such as PC Input Devices, preferred. Familiarity
with USB interfaces, Wireless communications protocols (such as Bluetooth)
desired. Capability to analyze hardware and firmware designs with an
orientation to identify design risks is a plus. Highly motivated individual
with strong project orientation is preferred.

><br>Specific Skills Activities:

> Interface with suppliers and contract manufacturers to drive contract
deliverables. <br> Manage and coordinate equipment ordering, procurement, and
delivery.

> Manage and coordinate equipment verification testing to ensure timely
completion <br> Perform statistical analysis of verification testing.

> Write test procedures.<br> Working directly with external vendors

> Statistical analysis<br> Perform activities such as Gage R&R to qualify new
equipment

> Position requires working and understanding small consumer devices with
imbedded controllers and USB and or wireless interfaces.

> Analyze manufacturing data to determine performance of test systems, find
root causes of tester-related yield issues, and drive corrective actions<br>
Develop and enforce equipment calibration and maintenance plans

> Continuously improve the test development process<br> Excellent grasp of
test flow optimization, test coverage issues, and other production test issues

> Must handle stress of supporting a large-scale production operation.<br>
Knowledge in manufacturing test process developments and related
documentations.

> Knowledge in labview, CVI and teststand is a plus.<font>
