>Job Description <br>Microsoft Asia Center for Hardware (MACH) is a fast
growing organization that is an extension of Microsoft Entertainment and
Devices Division, a world leader in design, development and manufacturing of
computer peripherals, Xbox Gaming and Zune music devices. We are looking to
fill a Snr Factory Manager position based in Shanghai/Kunshan area. The Snr
Factory Manager position will showcase your proven Operations and
Supplier/Factory management experience, your solid manufacturing (process,
operations, quality), organizational, communication, negotiation skills, your
focus on the customer and your ability to manage the relationship with the
factories/suppliers. This position’s core focus is managing outsourced
manufacturing (factory) operations for assigned suppliers by leading a team of
technical resources and effectively collaborating with a variety of peer
groups across the organization as well as externally, including, but not
limited to, Business Stakeholders, the Supply Base, Development, Finance,
Supply Chain, Compliance, Manufacturing Test and Quality, to solve problems at
the source.

>o Lead a team of technical resources or leverage SME from other teams to
drive actions through internal functional groups and suppliers to attain:<br>?

>• Factory Management<br>o Responsible for all facets of operations at the
supplier/factory.

Operational Excellence<br>• Strong team player who motivates peers/team, drive
root causes analysis to derive actionable data and implement corrective
actions timely (by identifying clear problem ownership and take leadership to
drive issues closure with various functional teams and supplier), communicates
status with peers, clients and other stakeholders and quickly resolves issues
that impede business progress.

expertise in many of the following areas:
