>After shipping its first version Essential Business Server(EBS) 2008 in Sept
2008, EBS team is now thrilled at working on its V2 product but still in a
startup team culture with the infrastructure of the Windows Server Solutions
team. The middle market segment for our product is huge, and we are as close
to the customer as it gets. With this laser focus, we are able to turn the
best-in-breed products at Microsoft (like Windows, Exchange, System Center
Essentials) and deliver a world-class solution tailored to delight our
customers. The EBS team works very closely with our partners to be smart about
leveraging their technology while augmenting it with our own solutions (for
example, our unified deployment and administrative console, or our licensing
enforcement, or our migration innovations). The goal: to release a new product
into this new market space, and drastically drive up customer satisfaction
with Microsoft.<br>

>The EBS team has a distributed development team in Shanghai that needs a
solid and experienced technical lead SDET. You will participate in product
architecture and design reviews, analyze the customer requirements, develop
feature test plans, work with developers and program managers to ensure proper
test coverage, design and implement automated tests, debug problems, develop
solid infrastructure and new tools. You will also be responsible for mentoring
junior employees in the team. We are quality driven, and expect people in this

throughout the product development.<br>

>The ideal candidate has excellent development skills (C# is preferred, but
not required) and 5+ testing experience on shipping products, with knowledge
of testing tools (experience with WTT, Scenario Builder, MITA or MAUI are all
pluses). Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and working
effectively in a team environment are a must for this position. A BS degree in
Computer Science, related field or the equivalent in education and experience
is required.<br>
