>The DPE Lead will be responsbile for the following commitments.

>Win customers: Secure platform adoption with a focus on Web and Client
platform. Lead cross-group initiative to Windows Server to be the prefer
platform for Web server

> Execute on evangelism rhythms to drive wins and evidence. Drive Windows
7 Application compatibility in both ISV and LOB apps to support adoption of
next generation client platform

> Drive cross-group independent software vendor (ISV) leadership leveraging
Project Middle Earth (PME). Execute on Graceland to drive managed ISV and
breadth partner adoption.

> Drive spark download to get early adoption and broad coverage

>Drive technical community satisfaction. Secure the next generation of
Microsoft technology and platform users (students).

> Scale evangelism and marketing outreach through Broad Customer Connection
(BCC) efforts to drive adoption and satisfaction.

>Grow tools revenue and licenses. Drive adoption with Visual Studio &
launch.

> Use Application Platform Optimization (APO) sales and marketing programs to
grow the business through Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Pro Tools,
and Expression. Develop and enable sales partner ecosystem.

> Identify and sell tools value proposition to managed partners. Drive
non-pro developer excitement and adoption with Visual Studio Express.

> Drive positive image and perception of Microsoft.

> Provide local thought leadership for Software Plus Services. Drive
positive perception on security, thought leadership, Local Software Ecosystem
(LSE), and interoperability.

> Excellence in cross-company alignment with SMS&P, EPG, Public Sector, BMO,
etc. Build a high-performing team and develop future leaders.

> Influential and elites engagement
