**This position is based in Guangzhou, China.**

### The area: Advertising Sales

At Google, we organize and change around our users and customers. Google's
Advertising Sales team embodies that pursuit: We're devoted to finding
relevant solutions that meet our clients' changing advertising needs. In that
regard, Advertising Sales does more than simply make money for our company.
Our efforts focus on the ways that Google technology enables the world's
biggest advertisers to enjoy immediate and accountable communication with the
consumer. Advertising Sales team members work hard to identify our clients'
business challenges, to collaboratively shape solutions that drive their
strategic initiatives, and to keep them educated and informed in the ways that
current and future Google products can enhance their online and/or offline
presence.

### The role: Creative Maximizer

As a Creative Maximizer, you use your excellent writing skills to "maximize"
the performance of campaigns that run on the Google site. You must be a
careful reader and a persuasive, inventive writer. Most importantly: you must
be an excellent communicator, sensitive to language, and comfortable composing
in language on demand. Google's advertising program sells highly-targeted text
ads that deliver performance up to 10x industry average for traditional
banners. The Maximizers write and rewrite ad copy to improve performance.
Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential because
you will be working closely with our Sales team and works directly with
clients to coordinate and execute creative optimization of campaigns. Finally,
you must be analytical and creative and get results.

#### Responsibilities:

* Proactively monitor and analyze performance of campaigns.

* Develop keyword campaigns and write advertising copy. Suggest ways to
improve performance.

* Manage keyword lists to deliver optimal client results. Lead efforts to
improve ad relevancy in your region.

* Work closely with Sales teams and clients to implement suggestions.

* Move fast on maximization requests. Communicate effectively in meetings,
through email, and during sales calls.

#### Requirements:

* BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record.

* Passionate about words and their impact on advertising.

* Passionate about the Internet.

* First rate communication skills.

* Proven writing and communication excellence. Fluent in English and
Chinese.
