### The area: Online Sales and Operations
The Online Sales and Operations (OSO) team keeps Google growing and
profitable. We are dedicated to supporting the company's expanding base of
advertisers, publishers and users in more than 40 languages on a global basis,
and providing them with the highest levels of service. We are responsible for
supporting customers and generating revenue from a broad range of products
such as AdWords, AdSense, GMall and Google Earth. This means that OSO team
members need to be proactive, motivated, organized, responsible - and able to
work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
### The role: Regional Inside Sales Manager, JAPAC
This position will report to the Regional Director of Online Sales and have a
dotted line reporting structure to the global head of Inside Sales.
You will build and manage telesales operations across the region that acquires
high spend potential advertisers in the medium and large enterprise segments
within this region. Products that the division will sell include AdWords, an
industry leading text-based advertising platform, and AdSense, an industry
leading contextual advertising platform.
#### Responsibilities:
* Working directly with the JAPAC Director of Online Sales and the global
ISO Forum, to define the business strategy for the expansion of ISO within the
region
* Developing a blueprint for customer acquisition within Google in JAPAC
region
* Overseeing the hiring, training and management of a team of sales
professionals within the region
* Meeting quarterly revenue targets and owning the inside sales P&L for the
region
* Working closely with Google's Online Sales country heads and Direct Sales
Country Managers to identify sources of leads and industry segmentation
strategy for their countries; selling new and exciting products that Google
develops for your markets and segments
#### Requirements:
* BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record
* Strong, relevant experience in sales operations and/or a direct
marketing/media environment with good knowledge of metrics based management
* Experience in selling technology or media products preferred (particularly
JAPAC experience)
* Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills
* Fluent English required, a second language is an advantage
* Experience with Sales Training techniques essential (SPIN, etc.), and
leading CRM tools (Oracle, Siebel, and/or SalesForce) an advantage
* Proven track record of successfully leading an international sales team -
especially in a Telesales/Telemarketing environment, and an excellent people
developer
